Never Stop Praying..
Salam.. Feeza's still have her fever on and off. The doc have not yet found what exactly cause the fever. Alhamdulillah, no silent fit. There are 2 main possibilities that can trigger her fever; her blood is infected or its caused by some part of the brain that controls her temperature.
She's going to undergo CT scan tomorrow morning to see whether there's anything wrong with her abdomen (since her stomach seems blotted). Wish her all the best to recover as soon as possible..
Amin..

Mummy's prayer for Feeza
Amin.. Ya Rabbal 'Alamin..
Alhamdulillah~Praise be to ALLAH!
When she gets the fit, her eyes won't react to lights and she wont be able to see for a few moments. It happened yesterday when her paediatrician came and noticed that her eyes were big and did not react to any movement. It took a while for her to recover her sight back and that is one of the symptom to show that she's having the silent fit. Insya Allah, she'll be discharged in a few days :)
As for the silent fit, for the time being, she'll be depending on her meds. So, hopefully she'll gain her health back and live her life as a normal kid!
Thanks again to all of you who have been supporting Feeza and this blog! May God bless u!

~God Bless!~
Sorry for the late update of Feeza's condition. Alhamdulillah, with the prayers and wishes form all of you, she's getting better day by day. I went to visit her last Saturday. She can open her eyes now eventhough she squints. She recognized people. She can really talk like usual when she eats ( she can now eat as usual too). Her stomach blotted a bit but the doc said it was the effect of the meds. She's still in the ICU by the way. The only problem to be monitored is her sodium level. Once it reaches the normal level, she'll be transfer to the ward! We would like to express our gratitude to ALLAH for granting our prayers for Feeza's recovery. We wolud also like to thank Mohd Ruzaini b Bakri from Johor for the lovely card and the supports.
I wish i could upload her latest pic but im not able to do that at the moment. Will do as soon as i can.. Thanks again to all of u! God Bless!

the operation
Alhamdulillah.. Praise be to Allah.. Feeza had gone through her operation today. The operation took about 5 hours which started as early as 830am.. The nite before, the anesthetist came and have a little chat with her father. She told him that the operation would not be so easy as Feeza might face excessive bleeding because her blood were not thick enough.. She also explained that after her operation, she might have to depends on the respiratory machine for a while.. We were taken aback for a moment..That was last nite..
The operation was a success. Alhamdulillah.. More than half of the tumor were removed in which surprised the surgeons themselves. However, the remaining tumor will be treated according to further discussion between her parents and the surgeons. And Alhamdulillah, there were no complications occured and she proved herself a fighter when the doctor decided that she is now strong enough to breathe on her own.. Thanks for the prayers from all of u..

~URGENT!~
In the name of ALLAH the Most Merciful..
I just called her father and he told me that Feeza went to SJMC because earlier this morning, she was vommiting (in which should not occured anymore since the pressure at her brain have been channeled through the tube). So, she was sent to SJMC. The doc said that the vommiting maybe caused by her malfunctioning tube or the effect of her chemo.. However, doctor had discovered that her tube was only channeling the right side of the brain's fluid. The left side had no where to go. So, the tube burst. The latest news i get is that she's going to undergo her operation to remove the brain tumor this Friday. I do not know what'll be effected due to the aftermath of her operation. The thought of the fact that they're gonna cut her head open kills me.. Hurts so much.. Please.. I plead you guys out there to pray for her so that she'll be able to live her life as before.. Please.. Thanks..

~feeza @ home~
However, for Feeza's case, the doctor could not perform it right away as she's only 3 and her brain is still developing. So, she might have to wait up to 3 or 4 years to have that treatment. For the time being, we can only pray and hope that ALLAH grant her with longevity and we try our best to seek for the perfect cure for her.. So those out there can help by wishing for a miracle to happen to her.. Thanks..

an intro..

feeza was born in 14th Nov 2005 as the second child to Irwan Effendi and Siti Zaleha.
she was a healthy baby until she was 7th months old. she encountered a drastic lost of weight. what was left for her during that time was bone and wrinkled skin. her parents sought for treatment and had her undergo further check up with general practioners and also specialists.
during that period of time, she had to bear persistent vommiting. be it after meal, when she woke up from sleep, the vommiting was unpredicatble. the only diagnose she gets from most of the doctors was only 'stomach upset' or, 'food poisoning' or even worse, 'malnourished' which ended up putting her into pain due to frequent blood tests and what not..
her parents had no other option than to get her to another hospital and bear the pain watching their beloved daughter cried with needles going through her skinny hands. it was an unbearable sight to see her in that much of pain. the treatment goes on for almost 3 years without none of the doctors suggested the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Image) test for her. so the whole family lived with the fact that it was either her stomach or her the environment that cause the constant vommiting.
despite the vommiting, she is a very active child. im not afraid to say that almost everyone who meets her will be impressed by her chaming personality, her intelligence (she's a very smart girl!) and the fact that she is so friendly.
after almost 3 years consulting two private hospitals, her parents bring her to the 3rd. the paeditrician in the current hospital suggested her to do the MRI test. so she had an appointment on 3rd February 2009.
she have a habit of sucking her fingers before she goes to sleep. couple of weeks before, my mom took care of her for a while. one night, after vommiting, she was going to sleep but she had some trouble putting her fingers in her mouth. when my mom asked what's wrong, she replied ''i can't find my mouth''. so my mom assisted her. what hurt my mom the most, was when she could not suck her fingers as she could not take controlled of her hand..on the night before her appointment, she was with her father. she was sleeping soundly until suddenly she started bubbling and somewhat struggling to talk in her sleep. her father woke her up and for 5 seconds, she was speechless.. these were the only symptoms she showed us..
on the day of her appointment, the whole family was shocked when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. her tumor was 4cm long and it has been there for almost 2 and a half years! the tumor had blocked the fluids in her brain from circulating and the only way that she can channel the preassure in her brain was only by vommiting (which the doctor said, have saved her life all this while). after her brain scan was out, the doctors decided to insert a tube in her skin. the length of the tube is from her head down to the back of her right ear and straight to her chest before it reaches her stomach. the tube is meant to circulate the fluids in her brain so that her vommiting will stops instantly.
now, she's living with the the tube in her body waiting for the exact treatment for her tumor.. please pray for her..tq..
~M~(im her cousin. my mom is feeza's aunt. her father is my mom's youngest brother. we have been taking care of her since she was 9 months. she called my mom 'ibu' and my dad 'abah')..
